*********** contact centre consultant

We had electricity cut of on the 30th April 2021 in my area, I went to a Dstv outlet in Jabulani Mall on the 4th May to report that I cannot pay for my package because I have not electricity and not even sure when its going to be switched back on. The consultant at Jabulani told me I don't have to cancel, because my subscription will be switched off automatical if I don't make any paymen, which is exactly what happened. Now today with the electricity back on, I call the contact centre to find out how much do I need to pay to be reconnected, and I'm given an amount of R901.01, which is way higher than my prescription, when I ask why, I'm told I was charged for May, June & July. So I ask why was I charged for those months because my subscription was suspended, I am told by the consultant that I was supposed to cancell the subscription, and I have to pay R251.39 before I can reconnect. I tell the consultant that I went to Jabulani with the intent to cancel but was told I do not need to do that, and I have to pay that amount and that there's nothing they can do about their cosultant giving me incorrect information! Why do I have to suffer for the *********** consultant that they hired and placed at a service centre to give customers incorrect information. I want to reconnect, but I refuse to pay the R251!
