Incompetence
On 15 December I had a simple request to change my bank details and downgrade my package. It was confirmed that it will be effective on 25 December 2015. I checked my account and the debit order did not go off neither was the package downgraded. After a follow up I confirmed that an adhoc debit order can be lodged. The adhoc wasn't done either. My account was subsequently disconnected for non payment. I enquired about it and was told to pay arrears and connection fee. I made it clear that it was not my fault and that they must correct my account. I received a response confirming that I will be reconnected. I received a second response confirming I will stay disconnected until I pay arrears and the future payment.

Multichoice has made their problem mine. This is totally unfair. Just because they monopolise the industry gives them no right to hold me ransom. Given the gross incompetence and heartlessness of multichoice, Netflix looks more and more like a better alternative.
