25 Nov 2017, 00:45This is the letter that I wrote to Multichoice on 14 Aug 2017:
Hi
I signed a contract for the Pricelock Explora last year Nov 2016. A debit of R539 was supposed to be go off on the 15th of every month. However in May 2017 I started getting messages that my account was in arrears, my account was not being paid since Dec 2016. I was then requested to send proof of payment, only then it was discovered that only R360 was being deducted into somebody else's account.
I refuse to take responsibility for MULTICHOICES mistakes. Already this has caused me a lot of inconveniences,
- having to go inside the bank to request pages of statement from Dec 2016 which costs me a lot of money (statements are not free).
- faxing these statements
- discontinuation of services for non payment
- phone calls to Multichoice
- phone calls whilst I am busy at work
and a lot more.
I kindly request to;
1. start my normal deductions of R539 or whatever is applicable as per agreement
OR
2. cancel the contract as there is a breech of contract ASAP.
Kindly treat this matter as urgent as I do not expect any other amount to be deducted on the 15 Aug 2017 other than R539. I have other debits from my account, I don't have extra money.
