I cancelled DSTV, they don't provide a service but still have my account open and in arrears?

Multichoice is becoming a less attractive source of entertainment for many reasons. I decided to cancel DStv and I find out that I'm registered on ITC because my account is in arrears by 7 months. They have not provided me with a service (I don't want their service). My home is DStv decoder free but find myself registered on ITC.

This is not a credit account. You have not provided me with a service which I have not paid for. Nor have you made any effort to contact me should there be money owed.

Grow up. I'm not a little guy and will be taking this further. This is to let you know that the battle has begun.

A 'oops, sorry' is not going to cut it when your company is at fault and it is currently affecting my home loan application. This response is insufficient and I will be taking this further.

You are required to acknowledge my response and expedite my removal from ITC.

What is the turn around time for getting the letter to me? My bank requires this confirmation letter and are re-submitting my home loan application tomorrow morning. This disaster of a ***** up needs to be handled ASAP.

No reply? I'm taking this to the next level and including your name on the documentation.

Your company cannot make an error as disasterous as this. Then not provide me with a real person to speak to over the telephone. Dealing with a call center agent doesn't work. Emails I send don't get rep**** to, and now you, Dinah, don't get back to me.

Provide me with a telephone number and a real person to speak to or my next step is to submit documentation to my legal department, your legal department, the Bureau for Better Business, and the Ombudsman.

Feedback for Multichoice.

As you are not a credit provider, have incorrectly and unfairly listed me on ITC, and this is affecting a home loan application; I can sue for the total home loan amount which is R2.4 million. The bank has the documentation proving this.

As I have no individual to formally communicate this to, and you have acknowledged this formally using this medium, this serves as my individual notice that should my issue not be resolved by the end of business today, along with an admission of fault sent to ********** I'm no longer representing myself as an individual and will instead be represented.
