I am seriously thinking of taking this matter up with the Ombudsman

It has been 5 months and I have spoken to countless agents at DStv (MultiChoice) (Pathetic Service) with no end in sight.

Story: I took out a Dstv Pricelock package back in 2016.

The DStv (MultiChoice) sales lady forced me into going into a debit order agreement as she told me she can't put me on Pricelock unless I agree on a debit order for the monthly fee to be debited. Against my wishes I gave DStv (MultiChoice) my banking details and the Pricelock was activated.

Unbeknown to me DStv (MultiChoice) then never debited my bank account the monthly fee over the 2yr Pricelock period (even though they had my banking details).

2yrs later ie. in October 2018 DStv (MultiChoice) attempted to debit over R12 000 from my bank account and this amount was returned by my bank notifying me of this ********** debit order as no agreement was in place between myself and DStv (MultiChoice) to debit such a huge amount.

In the 2yr period no communication (Letters, SMS, e-mail etc.) was sent to me regarding the above and the service ran without fail for the entire period.

I then contacted DStv (MultiChoice) on 03 October 2018 and was told by the Dstv agent there was a system glitch and they were aware thereof and she can see no communication was sent to me. She confirmed the error was on their side. The DStv (MultiChoice) agent then advised me she would escalate this to management to write the amount off as the error was on their side and I would be contacted within 24Hrs to confirm this. This call never came and I have now spoken to more than 10 Dstv agents over this 5 month period regarding this but still no feedback.

I spoke to a team leader Tumelo Matsane who advised he would take this matter up personally and we agreed no payment was to be made until he comes back to me.

Still no feedback until today !!!!
