Horrible dstv experience

Decided to get the dstv explorer for my home I now wish I had just settled for not having tv. Dealing with dstv has been a nightmare my fiance did the application over the phone with an agent we promptly received an sms saying all was approved we were asked to drop off a certified copy of her ID proof of income and proof of Address we promptly did this at the multichoice offices in centurion as per instruction from the agent when we sat with the agent at the offices she had absolutely no clue about what to do first telling us we can't give the papers to her the the supervisor or manager told her we can and showed her what to do we have her all paperwork and were reassured that all was in order we must just wait for communication from multichoice. Fast forward 2 weeks and still no word from multichoice I called the help desk and they sent me through to a gentleman by the name of Sipho who sounded so disinterested in my problem and rep**** with I don't know and you asked this and my reply is this in a very condescending tone I was told the ID and proof of Address was there but NO proof of income which was submited. It is service like this that is making people change over to internet based tv as opposed to using multichoice. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!

Dear Adrian James,

It is with regret that we learn of the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced with our service. Please accept our sincerest apologies in this regard.

Our records do indicate the documents we have is the ID copy and proof of address. Proof of income is not reflecting hence the application is still on a pending status.

We do urge you to send the document to the specialist department ( *** ) that approves the applications to ensure the process is completed timeously, for the decoder to be dispatched and delivered to you.

Our intention is certainly not to provide a sub-standard service to our customers.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us send an email to *** .

Kind regards,

Edward
