Holiday home drama

I activated my holiday home from the 29th Aug to the 31st Aug & it gave me a quote of less than R60 I can’t remember the exact amount. Saturday I wanted to pay & I check on the app to my surprise it says I owe R2477. I immediately called the contact center & I was told that it’s an error that would be escalated to the finance department. I went to Checkers & paid R920. Today I checked the app again & it says I owe R738.74 & I called the contact & speak to Anna who tells me I’m in arrears cause of my holiday home which she says was active from the 29th Aug until the 25 Sept 20. The is no way I would have activated my holiday home for a month. Now my account is in arrears with R738.74 with an amount I don’t know about. The team leader advised that the matter would be escalated to the relevant department for investigation.

This needs to be investigated because the is no way that I activated my holiday home services for a month. I can’t trust DSTV because on Saturday according to your system I owed R2477 & today it’s a R738.

The same system that made an error with the R2477 also made an error with my holiday home service. I activated the service for only 3 days.

But my question who is going to pay for my cellphone bill after I made countless calls to the contact center to resolve your mistake. Yesterday I was on the line with contact center for 1 hour 3mins which is more than the R78.26

As an apology to me as one of your valued customers I shouldn’t be paying for that R78.26 DSTV needs to reimburse me for my airtime spent on the calls I made to their contact center.

I will pay it if you pay me for my airtime spent .

I am not going to pay the R78.26 because I spent so much yesterday trying to sort this out & it was not even my fault. I should’ve have been billed for the R739 in the first place
