Highly negligent customer service

I wanted to upgrade my dstv package. When i contacted customer care, i was asked to make a payment of ZAR 1258.27 in order for the upgrade to be successful. Following are the issues:
1 - I was told that payment can be made at spar/pic n pay/pep store. However, when i visited spar i was told the facility was not available in that particular store and is only available in selected stores. The dstv customer care agent did not mention about this. I finally managed to makr the payment at a pick n pay store.
2 - Now, almost 2 hours after i had made the payment, the add-on packages haven't been activated yet. When i contacted the customer care, I'm being told that there is a problem with the system and i must wait for the package to be added (no SLA)
Why must I pay in advance for a service that is not available? Multichoice is least bothered about the customers. And whenever a call is made to the customer care, we are forced to listen to the recorded voice (marketing) explaining the new offers. The airtime is being wasted because of this.

Long story short - Multichoice is neither interested in providing quality service nor about customers. All they want is money, money and money.
Ariv
