High Premiums - Worst Service

Dealing with Multichoice "the so called company that brings the world of Entertaiment" has only brought me a world of misery. My problems started on the 28 Dec 2016 when i took my HD PVR into the customer service center in Umhlanga as the decoder was rebooting on its own after every 5 min.. The consultant advised that the decoder was faulty and i need to get another replacement @ R649 or any Explorer ********** Told the Explorer was a better option as i will be able to get it on pricelock as my other Explorer contract expires on the 31/12/2016 and it will be cheaper as i get the Explorer for free with the premuim package @ R849.00 Advised that it will be a plug and play system. App**** for pricelock and was declined by multichoice.. When asked for an explaination the consultant could not give any just " system declined" I was given an email address to send thru a query as to why i was declined.. 2 days later. email came back that it was declined due to affordability and then i see that the consultant duplicated my expenditure and that is why i was declined.. he asked me for my monthly expenditure and then added the expenditure from his system(credit bureau) and added it together.. Surely u can only use one.. which ever is the higher.. We then called in to query and asked that it be rectified and was told that the problem is esculated and someone will call.. On 2/01/2017 we called again and that consultant escalated the query again and still no one called .. Eventually on the 04/01/2017 i decided to just purchase the explorer as if i continued waiting for a call from DSTV , i might not be able to watch tv again.. I get home and the plug & play system is really not a plug & play and then i had to fork out a further R1150.00 for smart Lnb and installation from a acreditted installer.. So i finally get everything working and then i get home on the 9/01/2017 and my dstv is not working.. Call thru and wait for 45min for the consultant to tell me that he does not know what happened to my account. There is nothing loaded on the system.. I watched tv in the morning and left for work and get home and nothing working.. They dont know what happened to my account & know one can get me an explaination.. I have been a DSTV subscriber for the past 10 years and on the premuim package and not a single time has my subscription went unpaid.. How does my information get wiped out when i had it in the morning.. Really do believe that DSTV are magicians as they made my services disappear and the funny side is that they cant correct it.. They are really offering the worst service ever and i am a truly irate and dissappointed customer....the lack of accountability in this multi layered organization is appalling - no direct communication, just a call centre and numerous non identifiable consultants passing the buck with every call and the customer having to relay the problem time and again in the hope that this time (i.e the umpteenth time) this person will help. how will customer service improve if there are no turnaround times in place to address customer complaints and no performance standards to which the consultants are expected to adhere to???
