Goodbye Multichoice

After been a client for almost 30 years with DSTV/Multichoice, I decided to cancel my subscription. Why, being a pensioner, living on pension now, I moved to a retirement village. Phoned Multichoice to check if they have pensioners discount. Was told to contact the corporate body, bla bla bla. When I told them I wish to cancel my subscription, they say I must pay R180 cancellation fee. No other questions. Really. . . Goodbye Multichoice, Hello Netflix, Youtube and Openview. Multichoice does not have a retentions department, simply put, they do not care if you cancel. No wonder your share price is taking a knock. Goodbye Multichoice, nice knowing you . . .
