Frustrated

So the story is; I am the one paying for my grandmother's (Dikeledi Malefetsa) subscription of which I always pay 3 to 5 months in advance meaning there is always credit on her dstv account.

End of April when I was checking the account balance I found that it was more than the subscription fee and also it was supposed to have a credit not debit. So I called the call centre and I was told that the account owes insurance for the decoder. And I told the agent my grandmother does not have insurance on her decoder. I personally bought a new decoder couple of months ago, why not claim for a new one if she had insurance? Then I was told to call insurance on Monday since they are closed on weekends.

I called with my grandmother on the line, she told the agent she never had insurance on the decoder. We were then told to call after 21 working days for the out come of the call retrieval, they are going to compare voices for the person who opened the insurance. Today it's over 21 working days and I'm being told stories again. All I want is my R649 refund because my grandmother never had insurance but unfortunately because I always paid forward, I did not notice the deductions until the funds were depleted. Worst of all the agent had the decency to argue with me. Hee banna.

And this is not the only incident where money was deducted from my account without my consent. In February I was told I had taken another decoder so that's why I need to pay double and I never did such. When I asked where I took this said decoder, I was told I activated it via WhatsApp. Lol. I'm not laughing because I did no such. Fortunately some of my money was credited. My point is. Dstv somehow always seems to add insurance or subscriptions to peoples account without their knowledge..
