Frustrate Disappointed And Flabbergasted Client.

Hi! A Very Disappointed Tebogo Here.

My decoder got struck by a lightning in the beginning of November. I went to Multichoice offices in Randburg to ask that my services be suspended since i won't be watching any Tv and i didn't insure my decoder nor had the money to buy a new one. I was told that they will not suspend my services immediately since i didn't have my decoder with me and that they don't take a word of mouth, they needed to see the actual decoder for them to suspend the service with immediate effect otherwise they'll only do it at the end of my next payment date which was the 25th November.

I got a call from Multichoice offering me an Explora for R499 on a 24 months price lock(No increases). I then signed up for it. I was told they would send me their contracted installers(Blingstallations) to come and do the installation. The installation was only done on Sunday the 20th November after waiting more 33 days without my installation.

On Monday the 21st I got a message saying that my next debit order is R881.17. I mean how do i move paying R399 which was initially the price i was paying on the old decoder that was struck by lightning. I was moving to R499 which i am comfortable with. The consultant that called me told that the installation is free and that i wasn't going to pay anything else. What amazes me now is why should I be paying R881.17 that i haven't budgeted for?

This debit order is said to come off tomorrow the 25th November. I am thinking I should reverse it because it is more than the amount i signed up for which is R499. I have screenshots of the conversation i had wit Lindelwa who works as a live chat agent at Multichoice but he couldn't help me. The WhatsApp number is even worse cause it is an automated responsive app that doesn't interact constructively with the people that contact it.

I am very disappointed in the services from Multichoice and we are paying a lot for the kind of service offered. The least you can do is make us see our monies worth.

I'll be waiting for the response and i guess that in the mean time my services will be suspended because i don't have R881.17 to pay.
