********** money claims from DSTV
As off late I'm getting phone calls that I owe DSTV monies.....
The DStv service is a prepaid service for a full month - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.

Quoted directly from the internet. My dstv has been disconnected almost a year now.... suddenly I owe them money... for what.... not watching DSTV. Also how can a person watch dstv if it was not paid. Also there are only 2 statements for April 2021 & May 2021 (DSTV NOW). Miraculously there is a R207.00 which also get balanced by April 2021...leaving a closing balance of R0.00 and than miraculously may 2021 it is back R207.00..... I haven't even watch DSTV since October 2020,.....if this is a ********** situation I will pursue it by Law.

Is dstv a pay to view service?
If i didn't make a payment, the service should have been stopped.... Dstv didn't provide me the service to view first and pay later..... I recon i have fair grounds to take this to the small claims court and argue my case..... I had to pay dstv initially to view programs and once payment was confirmed the service was activated.
