********** accounts opened using my ID

I only found out that there is an account open at Multichoice, the account uses my ID number but a different name. I called in and an agent Xolani advised me to go to the nearest Multichoice Agency so that they can clear the confusion out.

I got to the agency and I was assisted by Tebatso (that's if I remember correctly), she advised me that they have picked up that the ID number registered under some Herbert Mcunu owes them +-R6180, and also that they picked up last year around September that the ID has. Even doing ********** activities. The agent made a copy of my ID and advised me that I have to go to the police station and make an affidavit with the police.

I later called in and an assistant by the name of Palesa advised that I have to call the ***** department on ********** 289/3000 so that they can assist, also she advised that they will be in contact within 48 hours of which they haven't.

But now, here I am stuck with a decoder of which I cannot be able to use/Register until Multichoice finishes with their investigations of which I doubt they will ever conclude since it's been a year that they picked up the ********** activities on that ID/account . Also, I do not understand how they failed to verify the ID with the given names before they opened an account.
