I received a call from a consultant from on the 21st of July around 13:00 about an internet bundle offer. I took it but after checking all the reviews and not receiving the sms as agreed upon our call I decided to cancel the whole thing. So I called them to cancel on the 22nd of July at 08:00 in the morning to cancel (less than 24hrs of signing up) and I was told it'll be canceled. I had spoken to an agent by the name Martina. Everything seemed ok until the 2nd of August I got an sms about my order being processed( the sms was sent on what is supposed to be an "alternative number" luckily the owner of the number was close to me, I kept wondering why are they even using the alternative number instead of the main number, clearly I wasn't supposed to see this sms) I checked my app and amount owed was now R887 instead of R429 for the compact package. I called them and spoke to Phumelele who said it was now sorted I'll continue paying R429 but to my surprise when I checked again in the evening on the dstv app the amount had gone up to R1200(same day after being told it was canceled) I called again and asked to speak to the manager, named Sinenhlanhla Mtshana she now tells me only the head office can cancel it she will have to send an email and she will copy me on that email, but I received nothing!! How did they even activate a package 10 days after it was canceled? Why did they use the alternative number when activating this thing when I had clearly stated that it is not my number? They activated a ********** sale and I must suffer the consequences. My monthly dstv premium is outstanding now I might be disconnected because of their consultants doing ***** and no one seems to care about it. They do not care about their customers, I held the line for almost an hour only to get no assistance. It's my time, my airtime and top of that they want to **********ly take my money. I am so disappointed, I suffer from depression and anxiety, I've been having panic attacks because of this thing. I'll suffer more loss having to consult a Dr about my condition. I regret ever taking this dstv package.
