I requested a refund from multichoice and I was asked to submit supporting documents, amongst those there was my bank statement. After almost a month of me pestering, I eventually received my refund. They then took it upon themselves with no consent or acknowledgement on my part to create a debit order on my account. They insist on not refunding without documentation but turn around and use the documents to de***** customers without their knowledge. I called the call centre and was told that the debit order would be removed but it still appears on my banking app that they refuse to cancel.
