My wife and I left the country on a foreign assignment to Germany earlier this year at different times. I left at the end of January 2015 and because of work requirements my wife left early April 2015. So, being a DSTV premium subscriber I phoned the helpdesk in Port Elizabeth prior to my departure during the month of January and arranged that the package be migrated to the DSTV Compact suite thereby using the balance of the debit order funding for the next two months and leaving my wife with at least some TV to watch. All good, sounded like a plan. At the end of March 2015 (exactly to plan) the DSTV service switched off and my wife subsequently packed the decoder away until we return mid next year.

On 1 May this year my account in SA was debited with the full amount of R673.00 without anybody requesting it. I telephoned the helpdesk from Germany three times now and each time I am assured that the calls are recorded and that positive identification is required before services will be activated. Nothing seems to happen. Now, my account has been changed to Compact and a balance of R403.77 is reflecting. If anybody can help me please. Surely this is *****? I want my money back DSTV.
