Formal Complaint: Removal of Winter Olympics Coverage

Dear DStv Customer Care,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with your decision to cancel coverage of the Winter Olympics.

As a long-time Business subscriber, I find this decision completely unacceptable. The Winter Olympics is a major global sporting event, and its removal from your lineup shows a serious disregard for sports fans who expect comprehensive and reliable coverage—especially considering the premium prices DStv charges.

Sporting content is one of the primary reasons I maintain my subscription. By removing an event of this importance without providing an equivalent alternative, you have significantly reduced the value of your service. This decision has forced me to actively look for alternative sports streaming platforms that respect their customers and deliver the content they promise.

At this point, I am seriously considering canceling my DStv subscriptionsaltogether. I do not believe it is reasonable to continue paying full subscription fees while key international sporting events are removed.

Please consider this email a formal complaint and a clear indication that your current content strategy is driving loyal customers away. I expect a response explaining this decision and outlining what, if anything, DStv plans to do to compensate subscribers who were affected.

If this issue is not addressed satisfactorily, I will proceed with canceling my subscription and moving to alternative services.
