I purchased an Explora 3a decoder in November and installed in December 2019. After lock down I decided to test the Box office movies. I noticed that randomly all movies would disappear. Further testing uncovered that if the decoder was switched off, ie load shedding, the movies disappeared. When the shops opened again, I demanded a new replacement decoder. When it was set up, it began downloading box office movies and catch up movies. Unfortunately the same problem soon showed up, random deletion of box office movies and also when I disconnected power. Attempting to e mail box office on 2 occasions resulted in "Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server." messages, despite this being the contact information on the website. The only conclusion I can arrive at is that there is a batch of faulty Explora3's in circulation, or that Multichoice has a technical problem that does not save the Box office movies on the hard drive. I have an Explora 1 that has 41 box office movies saved and does not delete them during a power outage. I need Multichoice to contact me and either confirm or deny my observations.
