False Advertising! Omitting the real price!

This is the sms I received from Multichoice

“Pay only R460pm for 2 months when you upgrade to DStv Compact Plus before 23 Jul! SMS "YES" to 31066 & we'll automatically upgrade you within 24 hours.”

I think to myself oh wow that’s actually quite a nice deal. I will pay approximately what I am currently pay now for being in Compact. So I do the whole upgrade and afterwards I am told I need to pay R614. This useless call center agent couldn’t explain to me why.

Then she says to me I need to pay the R460 plus the PVR function of R95!!! So I do the calculation and now the amount is no longer R460 but now R555!! So I ask the useless agent so the sms that I received was actually false advertising as there is nothing that they mention about the PVR function! Why we get charged for the PVR function is beyond me!!!

I have decided I am moving to Netflix. I registered and account yesterday and deleting this useless DSTV that rips us off!
