False advertising and incomplete listing of prices online
DStv advertises that if one is on a Premium subscription, with a decoder, one can take out a 24 month contract to pay a lowered monthly subscription equal to streaming contracts.
With great difficulty searching how to sign up for this, I was finally able to talk to a human, who after asking all my personal details to verify my ***, and asking if I wanted to sign up for other services, informed me I do not qualify as I do not have an Explora decoder.
There is no logical reason why this subscription option should be limited to a type of decoder. I'm trying to sign up for 24 months , what does it matter what decoder I have? It unfairly prejudices users with older decoders, who also pay premium amounts.
Nowhere on the website this is stated. It is false advertising and it has wasted my time. They also do not clearly stipulate, that in addition to a monthly subscription, there is also an extra "Access fee" per month - with no indication of the cost on the website, only on the invoice you receive with shock.
I guess you really want everyone to move over to your streaming services, which will create additional demand to your services that are regularly dropping signal.
On a side, the quality of your programming has declined significantly. Perhaps I might be cancelling my subscription as a whole, seeing as I have not signed up for 24 months.
