Explorer was a downgrade not an upgrade

I feel that I have been totally duped by Multichoice.
I received a call from a Multichoice sales person regarding the new Explorer. I had the old dual view PVR which they told me would not be supported for very much longer.
I agreed to having the Explorer plus the extra dual view decoder installed as it was inferred that I would have exactly the same functions that I had already, even better.
What a pack of lies, with the old PVR's second channel we could pause, rewind and record. With the new decoder we can only change channels, we have effectively been downgraded not upgraded.

If I can tell as many people as I possibly can to make sure this does not happen to anyone else and make sure you receive like for like not a downgrade as we have.
I suppose this is our fault for not doing our homework first and listening to the ******* the sales consultant tells you (or doesn't as in this case).

Unfortunately Multichoice has a monopoly so it doesn't leave the customer much option but to use their services.
