Explora Trouble continues...

I phoned Multichoice a few times this weekend (9 -10 Aug) to complain about certain channels not working on my primary Explora decoder. Its showing a E48 error with Bad weather or installation problem. After speaking to Dstv numerous times and customer service not doing a thing to help me because it must be installation fault, i phoned my guy who installed my decoder and still he cant find any fault. So he told me, Everyone is getting call backs on a E48 error message, since the Explora hit the market. Because DSTV has launched the explora but still havent come up with the necessary service to keep it running, thats why the whole SA is struggeling with a E48 message and only have a few channels to watch. So i have tried everything om my side to fix this error and still nothing, So Multichoice you better send someone to come and fix your **** your selling, And by the way, if i can only watch a few channels, why do you still charge me the premuim price??? That is ****************!! Come fix your **** or i will take this matter further.

Hello Pokkols6,

We could not get hold of you today and discuss your query telephonically.

Please accept our apology for the delayed response and the inconvenience caused.

As part of procedure, it is important that before you can contact a DStv accredited installer, you need to have your decoder tested. The decoder has to be tested at the nearest Multichoice branch or agency. At the agency, they will confirm if there's no fault with your decoder.

Should that be the case, the account holder needs to contact a DStv accredited installer to check the installation. The installer needs to have an accreditation number which proves that he's accredited by us.

As we're committed to providing you with excellent service, please refer to your personal email address for further assistance regarding your technical query.

Thank you for taking your time to contact us. Your support is important to us.
