Explora not delivered, lies and more lies from Multichoice staff

Multichoice marketing phoned us early on the 1st of December for the second time to market an brand new Explora to us. We decided to accept their offer and gave all the details and accepted the "Terms and Conditions" telephonically while the call is recorded to make it valid and everything else they required. They promised to have it delivered within 7 days of the phone call after which we can phone an installer. By the 10th I have not heard from them, so I first sent an email on the website to customer services, but no response, thenI phoned them later in the morning, and they promised to get back to me by the afternoon 5 PM latest. By the 11th at around 16:30 I phoned them again as I have not heard from them again. They undertook to escalate it again and get back to me. Of course that was the 3rd lie.. By Thursday morning we drove to the Multichoice office in Centurion and was told "we can see you ordered it on the 3rd and phoned twice, we will escalate it". I told them it was not acceptable and I refuse to leave without anything more. Sipho the line manager of the person I spoke to came eventually, and after being there for more than an hour, we left with his promise of following up personally and making sure we get it or a reply at least. Later that afternoon we got a phone call of someone only saying " We are escalating your problem". He did mention as well that he things the courier is the one just not doing their job. He will check with them and get back to me. Nothing more! By Friday I phoned Sipho, but he was in a meeting and they promised he will phone back. ANOTHER LIE! So this morning I phoned again and he was not in. I asked for his supervisor or superior and was given another number and was told her name is Porsha. I phoned, however they did not know who that was and I explained why I am calling that number and then they promised to phone back within minutes. It is now half an hour, no phone call of course! But subsequently since I have started this message Fedex phoned me to arrange delivery and assured me that they got this order on the 15th of December only, which was Friday! So is Multichoice in the business of lying and deceiving customers and making their lives miserable?? I did not beg them to buy this product from them. They called me and begged me to buy it from them!! THey made false promises and then just did nothing about my order and my follow up efforts! I am not a a happy customer. If I do not pay, they will cut me off! But in the 20 years or more that I have been a customer, they have never had to wait one day for their money! This is how much they value customers!

So the saga continues... After many phone calls this way and that way, our decoder was delivered and we had it installed. It was working fine when the installer left. The next day DSTV phoned us and asked us if it is working, we confirmed it, and they said they must put it on the new package. They switched it off and then after another half an hour on the phone, we ended the call, but our DSTV not working. I phoned late in the afternoon, gave them the smart card number and they activated it. This morning we get a Fedex delivery with another decoder.... Proof that DSTV has NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON IN THEIR OWN ORGANISATION! How does this slip past their systems - issuing two decoders for one order?? Wow.....
