The fact is that I do not have time to drive around and take decoders to shops. I moved from Pretoria to Vanderbijlpark and cancelled my Subscription when we moved. I then moved into the same building as a friend of mine and we took out extra view, we both have explora's and mine is the secondary. I got home one afternoon to a screen saying that the hard drive is *******ed and have to be formatted, so with advise fro the MutiChoice Call centre I did a factory reset and a hard drive format. This helped in a way that the normal viewing worked but none of the PVR functions (records for 10sec and then bombs out), also the Box Office and Catch up does not work.

For some reason no one at Multichoice call centre acn help me anymore and I have to visit a walk-in centre. There is no walk in centre in Vanderbijlpark or Vereeniging...and for some reason I have to take both decoders in to be tested.
Also with the change of ownership apparently the warranty that I had on the decoder is lost...how does this work and why does the decoder just fail so easy, it is not even a year old... I have heard of many similar stories, this is very disappointing...
