Explora decoders
We went to DSTV George to exchange our old pvr for an Explora Decoder. They did not have stock and could not tell me when they would have stock. They first had to do a stock take! Of what? When I asked for a tel no so that I could check if they had stock they said they had no phone? Really?
I also wanted to do a change of ownership of my mothers old decoder to my name for holiday purposes. This decoder is too old apparently although its in perfect working order. Change of ownership apparently costs R450 and a new decoder costs R400. Is this true?
But my actual complaint is how do they not have stock of the Explora? We see adverts all the time about this decoder but no stock? And no telephone? And no willingness to assist. Just a shrugging of shoulders. I was warned about the Dstv agency in George by numerous people and I now see what they mean. The installers are also complaining about their general unwillingness in assisting them as well.
