explora connection impossible

We purchased the explora in dec 2015 and was installed the very next day. Since the explora has been installed we have had several connection issues. Either the explora is not functioning properly or the dual view pvr is not working in the other room. Everytime we call the call centre they are unable to assist us. We spend hours on the phone with the call centre which is futile. How useless is this explora as when we just had the hd pvr we had no issues. Multichoice sells a product that their call centre cannot assist with. We are paying for an item that doesnt work most of the time. Frustrated with Dstv.
