Explora bad service and useless

Dstv customer care can't help rectify the problem with my explora for the past few weeks I can't catch up or record, what's the use of buying an explora if it works the same as the normal decoder,it keeps telling me to format it, when I do it gets stuck showing formatting in progress, it goes for hours without nothing happening,then when you call the service center they tell u to reboot it.... Seems like they can't help out, took if to the center last week at Han**** three rivers they told me it's working fine, got home it still did the same.... It's useless and waste of my airtime petrol to try and get help from multi choice.....
