On Friday, 31 March, we went to the Radnburg walk-in center to exchange our SD decoder for an explora 2 + HD decoder, as per the promotion, MultiChoice were advertising - the cost R1999 including the installation of a smart LNB and dish. The lady who assist us, Bonang Segobaetso, firstly didn't know what we were talking, she went to her supervisor to confirm the promotion and then went to get the two decoders, took them out of the boxes to do a configuring test to see if all is in order, we then paid the full amount and received a receipt. through this whole process, she was writing notes on pieces of paper, instead of the system; she then told us she will give our contact details to an installer, who will contact us within 24 hours to come and install the 2 decoders and until then only our Original explora decoder will work - so we were paying for three channels, but can only use one until everything is installed.

SURPRISE - no call on Saturday, no call on Monday.

When i called MultiChoice today - i was first upset, but now i have to laugh, the service is below bad, three different agents gave me three different answers as to why i have not been contacted yet!!!!! please try to train all your staff, giving them the same information!!!!

Agent 1- Melemo (i think), she will get in contact with Bonang to find out which installers she gave our details to, BECAUSE THERE IS NO DETAILS LOADED ON THE SYSTEM - she will get back to me with feedback no later than 13:00, after she told me that we should be calling the installers - i never kknew i was an employer of MultiChoice.

Agent 2 - Emerentia - at 14:30, told me that we will have to contact the installers and tell them to come install the decoders, these installers will then contact MultiChoice to confirm that the installation needs to be free of charge. She then gave me the contact details of an installer in my area (Birch Acres) and guess what????? THE LANDLINE DOESN'T EXIST AND THE CELL NUMBER YOU CAN'T LEAVE A VOICEMAIL - really professional!!!!!

Agent 3 - Lungeli - at 14:45 - she told us that we should have gotten a voucher, which we then give to the installer. I explained that I never received a voucher from Bonang (guess one of her friends got free installation). I was then told that I have to come back to the walk-in center to get my voucher, because there is nothing else that can be done - I need the voucher for the free installation.

WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS - MULTICHOICE'S FAULT AND THEY CAN'T FIX IT!!!!! I HAVE TO DO THEIR JOBS FOR THEM (SOUNDS LIKE THE GOVERNMENT TO ME.

Now an escalation have been logged and can take 24 - 48 hours for some-one to try and assist me and until then - i only have one working decoder, but I am paying for 3.

shameful - i don't even have hope that i will be contacted back.

i really hope this complaint gets higher management attention - otherwise i will go to facebook and twitter and all the other media channels to advise how multichoice cannot deliver any service!!!!!!!!!!
