Embarrassing in front of overseas visitor

What a pity the service from DSTV failed this evening. I have an overseas visitor here and was 'proud' to invite them to watch a movie on Box Office, only for the service not to work. I duly rented the movie (Blade Runner) and it would not load. I stayed on the line (at my expense) with your customer service agent, Renata McLaren, and after following her instructions for 20 mins the film still did not load. Although it looked like R35.00 was charged 3 times, Renata assured me this was not the case. Anyway, she said she had refunded my R35.00 but we were still unable to watch our movie. Embarrassing in front of my overseas visitor. Pity.

Hello. I had overseas visitors on the Sunday and the movie did not come through. On the Monday, the movie suddenly appeared on my TV for viewing - 12 hours after my visitors had left - therefore of no use to us. It is only right that the R35.00 was refunded as I was charged for a service not received, it makes no difference that it came through the next day. Still just a bad taste in the mouth and another embarrassing event in front of overseas visitors - showing them once again that it appears that a lot of 'things' just don't work in South Africa.
