DStv/SuperSport tennis coverage is unacceptable for paying tennis fans

I am a paying DStv customer, and my main reason for subscribing is tennis. The current tennis coverage strategy is extremely frustrating and, frankly, poor value for money.

DStv/SuperSport often has two (or three) tennis channels showing the exact same live match (or two) at the same time, while other live matches are completely ignored. This makes no sense to a customer who is paying specifically to watch tennis. If there are multiple live matches available, why duplicate the matches across different channels?

As an example, both channels will show the same high-profile match, such as Svitolina/Bencic-type coverage, while other live matches, for example a player like Jodar, are not shown at all. Whether the exact match is the biggest name or not, tennis fans want access to the live tennis that is actually being played, not duplicated programming.

I already raised this issue earlier this week on X, but I was ignored. That is disappointing, especially given that DStv expects customers to keep paying premium subscription fees.

This also raises a broader concern: it feels as if the sports strategy is being driven more by what suits sponsors, headline names, and packaged broadcast priorities than by what serves actual paying tennis customers. If that is the strategy, then DStv should be honest about it. But if you sell a sports product to tennis fans, then the coverage should reflect the full live tennis schedule, not two channels showing the same thing while other matches are unavailable.

Please explain why two tennis channels are allowed to duplicate the same match while other live matches are ignored, and what DStv/SuperSport intends to do to fix this.
