DStv/MNet package grossly overcharged

I subscribe to the DStv/Mnet package which was the old MNet analogue service which was migrated during March 2018 to satellite. A satellite dish and a DStv HD decoder were installed during migration. This package consists of 6 channels, viz MNet, CSN and 4 free-to-air channels,i.e. SABC 1,2,3 and e-tv. The major concern is the monthly premium of R485,00 pm from April 2021. When you do a cost per channel comparison with other DStv packages, you will come to the conclusion that the DStv/MNet packages is grossly overcharged. The Premium package costs R5,28 per channel against the R80,83 fir the DStv/Mnet package. Also the percentage increase from 1 April for the relative package is 9%, way above the inflation rate, as compared to the 1,2% for the Premium package. These matters were brought to the attention of DStv on 7 April, and numerous correspondence thereafter, only to receive a parrot like "cut and paste" replies from their HelpDesk consultants. Writing draft replies is not their forte. As we speak, the matter is still unresolved. If there are other DStv/Mnet subscribers reading this, and you agree that you are being fleeced by DStv, to take it up with them.
