DSTV upgrade ****

The last few months have been a constant issue with my folks's SD PVR, everyday at least twice a day their DSTV PVR just randomly reboots, in the middle of a movie or a show or whatever you're watching. I've read numerous complaints on Disqus about how Multichoice is sabotaging the SD PVR in an attempt to get people to buy their Explora Upgrade. What is hard to understand is that losing the ability to watch the 3 stations and record 2 in favour of watching 2 channels and only recording 1 is by no means an upgrade. Multichoice as a business should know that this is called downgrading. In order to have what my family has now they need to have 3 subscriptions at R850 plus per subscription. ******** to Multichoice who might consider changing their name to Monochoice. As for this downgrade Multichoice is punting, it seems that their logic is to ***** their current SD PVR owners by having extremely faulty systems which reboot daily. DSTV and Multichoice will lose out to internet based entertainment like Netflix. Customer satisfaction is not an goal nor an option anymore, only how much money they can get for the poorest service offered is what matters to these rich *******.
