DSTV - UNDISCLOSED INFO ON ACCESS TO DISNEY PLUS

I have come across a rather problematic issue. DSTV is offering 3 months free access to Disney Plus (obviously with the hope that DSTV customers will sign up to include the access after the free trial). Here is the dilemma. What has NOT been mentioned in any advertising by DSTV, is that not ALL smart television makes can provide access to Disney Plus.

I own a Hisense Smart TV and have spoken to Hisense's Technical Dept via Customer Care and have been informed that the television manufacturer (e.g. Hisense) has to apply for permission from DISNEY ITSELF to provide access to Disney Plus via the VIDAA OPS SYSTEM. At this time this is still in negotiation phase so I do not recommend that anyone with a smart TV sign up until they have investigated through THEIR TV manufacturer whether they are prohibited OR approved to gain access.

What has annoyed me immensely is that the DSTV Call Centre Consultants know "NOTHING" about this, but am informed by reliable sources that DSTV is well aware that Disney Plus is not available on some smart TVs. What say YOU DSTV?????
