DSTV trying to force me to pay for service they were supposed to have terminated

On 11 Dec 2016, I requested the reconnection of my DSTV service for the month of Dec (for "one month only").

The (very kind and helpful) lady on DSTV service desk said that she would give me a pro-rata rate to pay in order to have service till the end of the month.
I said fine; I paid; DSTV was reconnected; All good.

I got the service I paid for, for Dec and did not bother checking or following up on anything else since I requested it only for a month and in the past DSTV Customer Service said to me that the billing period is from the first of the month and that (in accordance with the 9 in the terms and conditions) the service expires automatically if I do not pay and that I do not need to give advanced notice. The only thing I needed to be aware of was that I would be liable to pay a "Reconnection Fee" when reconnecting.

Since I (A) requested the service "ONLY FOR A MONTH"
....and (B) never before had to worry about special termimnation notice (supported by clause 9 of your terms and conditions viewable at http://go.dstv.com/multichoice/documents/multichoice-subscriber-t-and-c.pdf)

Kindly
1. Reverse the extra amount you charged me for 15 days in Jan 2017 where you were supposed to discontinue access to the Service because I only requested it for the one month AND because you did not receive payment of my Fees in advance on or before the Monthly Due Date.
2. After completing 1, send me a statement showing that the account is settled in full.

For reference - from your Terms and Conditions:

1.17 "Monthly Due Date" means the date each month by which we must receive payment of your Fees;

9 In order to have continued access to the Service you must make, and we must receive, payment of your Fees in advance on or before the Monthly Due Date.

Note 1: Nowhere does it state anything about a "grace" period for receiving fees before access to the Service is terminated and me being liable for it.

Note 2: I was going to rant about the rude Multichoice accounts lady who phoned me and accused me of not paying and contravening t's and c's and refusing to listen to me while single mindedly trying to force me to acknowledge a debt to Multichoice, but maybe someone could just tell her to go and read the Terms and Conditions she kept trying to shove down my throat (and maybe to stop and listen to the customer once in a while). I felt like someone was trying to ****** money from me like a bully does at lunch in school. Not sure this is the way a company like DSTV / Multichoice should come accross. Very damaging.
