DSTV Technicians try to cheat me out of money

I just had a horrible experience with DSTV technicians Signal Zone in Roodepoort. I made contact with the Signal Zone on the morning of the 11 May, Raymond told me that a call out fee is R350 + plus an hour of work (this is for network adjustments only; replacements are an additional cost). When the technicians arrived they were unprofessional, not calling at the gate but hooting like crazy to try get my attention. My neighbors even called to advise of noise at my gate. I let them in and explained the problem which was clearly a network adjustment issue, I then confirmed the cost of R350 because they only made adjustments to the network. The technicians told me it would be an additional R300 because they adjusted the networks. I then called Raymond to confirm if this was true, Raymond confirmed AGAIN that since nothing had to be replaced and they worked for less than an hour R350 is the charge. I told Raymond what his technicians were trying to do to me and he completely ignored it and told me to just give them R350. He was not interested that his technicians had just tried to overcharge me, in fact it seemed to be the company’s standard way of operating. He tried to make an excuse for his ******* by saying that it’s the normal charge but he is making me a favor... he doesn’t know me from a bar of soap why would he make me favors? And he already confirmed on two occasions that the normal charge for network adjustments is included in the call out fee. Beware of these ********** fellow citizens, do not let them in your home.
