DSTV taking advantage of a widow...

My aunt had me cancel her DSTV after my uncle died in 2016. She could no longer afford it as she earns R1500 after deductions. I did this through the DSTV website using their contact page. After a couple of months they called her and she explained that it had been cancelled. They then proceeded not to send her any statements and now (March, 2019) have blocked her from renewing her TV Licence as they say she owes them R7000?!? What kind of company takes advantage of a widow, and takes three years of mounting debt and no notification to then pounce out of nowhere and say that she has to pay them R7000 on a R1500 salary? Apparently the rumors that DSTV does not allow you to close your account were not unfounded. Can someone please contact me ASAP in this regard. All it takes is to check the logs and see that she has not used her decoder since 2016. This is in incredibly poor taste... Please have the guts to do the right thing for once...
