DSTV Support not even aware of their Golden Years Rewards (65+ discount 20%)

DSTV is forever inefficient. They are going through major package/pricing changes that take effect 17 Sept 2026… But there will be no changes to Decoder Premium accounts, which I am on.

I have been on their Golden Years Rewards (age 65+ discount of 20%) for as long as I can remember, but in August there was no discount (in my case R185.80).

I have called in twice and their agents do not even appear to be aware of the 65+ Rewards which on their web sites still shows as active. https://www.dstv.com/en-za/legal/terms-conditions/rewards/65-reward/.

I insisted that my concern is escalated (#INC-***) – so let’s wait and see. If I get a negative response I will follow the public trend and cancel DSTV, and will rely on YouTube, Netflix, Prime, Disney & Apple that I already subscribe to.
