DSTV SUBSCRIPTION NOT CANCELLED AFTER A MONTH'S NOTICE

I had a 24 months subscription with DSTV which expired the 24/08/2019. I did not want to continue my subscription with DSTV, and cancelled my subscription at the beginning of September giving them a month's notice. I even followed up a few days later to confirm cancellation. I only find out now that my service was not cancelled, although they have all the notes of my phone calls on record. I am told now they will cancel only in November. This means I have to pay another month's subscription for a service I do not use.
