DSTV SERVICES ROBBING US BLIND
i made a payment on the 23rd of July of R270 for the DSTV Family package, The DSTV family package costs R265 however DSTV disconnected my services on Friday 2nd August claiming that i had not made any payment, i called their call centre line *** for assistance where i spoke to Amanda Maceba who was rather rude and arrogant and told me that there was nothing she could do to help me and all i should do is wait 24 hours for someone to call me as she had escalated the call 45minutes into the call. i then asked to speak to one of the supervisors at first she told me that, that was not possible as their supervisors were all very busy and when i insisted she asked me to hold while she called her supervisor, 5minutes later she came back and told me that her supervisor is coming i must please hold, she then put me on hold for exactly 50minutes until i put the phone down.
no one called me until i again called the DSTV call centre on Sunday afternoon 4th august where i spoke to Mpumelelo Hlophe who was empathetic and apologized for the inconvenience and immediately reconnected my services and also adviced that she would also escalate the call on her side. however my services were again disconnected that same Sunday evening.
i decided to wait for the call from the escalation team with no DSTV to no avail until i had to call them again around 4pm on Wednesday 7th August where i spoke to Nonkosazana Khumalo who due to my frustration with the situation at hand as i adviced that i would not wait or allow her to tell me that she will escalate my call again so she decided to call her Supervisor, the Supervisor Rachel Suvramoney who at first went to my profile and insisted on going as far back as May and June and when i told her that what she was doing was not only wasting my time but i was also using airtime to call them as i was not calling to enquire about those months but the month at hand she became very arrogant as far as telling me that if i felt that she is wasting my time then why did i call her and that if that's the case she should drop the call then to avoid wasting my time i then asked for her name and surname and told her that i was going to write a report on HelloPeter that she quickly said that she would assist me.
i am so angry that as a paying customer surely i don't deserve such treatment, who will pay back all the days i was without services that i paid for and the airtime i spent, i spent well over R300 with of phone calls and airtime just to try and resolve this issue and yet no one seems to care about that. HelloPeter please help us.
