DSTV schedules sucks....!
Is there a law against payment for something you already paid for? For R899,00 I only watch about 20 channels. And on all of these channels you only see re-runs. Comedy central, Discovery, Movie channels....just a few to mention...... This is the biggest ******* I have ever seen. Can't wait for fiber in my neighborhood so I can switch off and throw my decoder away. Most of the companies like DSTV think that they are in charge, but they are not. If a lot of us (the client) make up our minds and terminate our payments, they would go bust! and I think this is one of my future en devours, to change people's minds to put them in charge of what they are paying for. Why can't we choose our channels and only pay for what we watch? It's done all over the world, why not here.
This is a *******...and I know a lot of people feels like I do, the problem is that you are not listening. This is my last year of DSTV. I have seen everything they have to offer. Nothing new and exciting anymore. If you are going to show the re-runs, at least give your clients a discount for watching the same **** again and again.....

We understand that you find repeats frustrating. We’ve taken this issue of repeats to heart and we’ve pledged to do something about it. While we can’t do away with all repeats, we plan to cut down on the volume and introduce as much fresh content as possible.
MultiChoice also engages in ongoing discussions with its channel suppliers in an attempt to reduce the repeats.
There are only so many new movies and shows being made every year. A single channel broadcasting 24 hours a day needs 8 760 hours of content a year.
Giving customers the opportunity to choose their own channels, thereby creating a tailor-made package for their viewing needs, will not result in customers paying less for their DStv. Due to the economies of scale benefit of structuring channels in packages customers will end up paying more for just a few channels.
That is why MultiChoice offers a range of packages with different fees and different channel combinations - to cater for the viewing choice and pocket of a wide range of customers.
We will continue to look for opportunities to add more value.
