DSTV sales

Multichoice has a third party doing their telephonic sales. This is actually a review on this company as well as Multichoice.

I received an email for a "black friday" offer, a free installation of a new explora and a fix premium for 12 months @ R799 PM, which is quite a saving over the R904 PM for premium. I rep**** saying I am interested, and the sales person called me immediately. He then proceeded to go through an application that also requires a credit check, so I agreed even though I found it funny that he could see I was a current client paying way more than the offer. After asking all the finance questions, which I was stumped by as apart from maybe a financial person, who knows all that stuff just off the cuff, while you are on the phone. This is where things went south ... I failed the credit check. At this point the salesman said he did not want to try again as there was a risk that I would be blacklisted credit wise, so i agreed to not try again ... but ... he said he would call again near the end of the offer, once the credit check had cooled down, and we would do it then, again I agreed. This call back never happened which I was quite upset about, but never got around to doing anything about ... stupid client am I not? Now, a few months later, I decided to do something, so sent a message to the general Multichoice "contact us", and asked what I can do, or who i can chat to. I got no response again. I suppose again I am just a stupid client doing the wrong thing again ... but then it got funny ... 2 days later I get a call from a salesman ... this time I took down details (Company called bytes people solution - ultron group). The salesman (He was brilliant ... he stayed helpful throughout all my raving) ... anyway, he said there was an offer that they wanted to give me, a new explora with installation, for R956 PM for a fixed 12 months. Amazing how this happened (I have never received a call for an offer before), but he had no idea if it was linked to my complaint or not ... let's just say yeah right ... anyway, he proceeded to do the application, which guess what ... included a credit check ... eish. We went ahead again...and I passed ... I want to swear, but will just say how the hell did I pass that one for R50 a month more ... but failed the one for R200 a month less ....yep swearing. (by the way those calls are recorded, and I actually want you all to go listen to it)

I would like Multichoice to explain why I should have gone through all this ... and in the end I lose because I somehow only qualify for the higher premium ... nice way to make money from the stupid clients.
