DSTV SAGA CONTINUES WITH NONE FUNCTIONAL PVR ON DECODER

We continue with our Decoder problems The DSTV people phoned us and I indicated to them I discovered Catch up needs 75% signal strength contrary to what we were told by the agency. So we started with replacing the LNB which we had to travel over 120km to Kyalami to buy as local Brits Game etc did not have. We replaced the unit still and disappointingly still the same 60%. We decided at great expense to change the 35 m co axial cable. Was completed an hour ago and signal strength now perfect at 80%. Turned it on still no PVR \Box office\Catch up. The agency should have changed our unit when we told them it was faulty and the fact they have no wifi to test it is not our problem. By now we could have bought two new decoders. I trust DSTV will resolve this now ASAP once and for all and replace our decoder which is insured. Are we going to get a discount this moth since we had a non functional service this month.. I look forward to hearing from you.

I was contacted by Charlotte who was very efficient and friendly and our PVR problem was resolved in a few minutes. She phoned back a few hours later to check if everthing was running smoothly.
This after about a month struggle with DSTV call center and agencies. For her I would give 5 stars.
