DSTV robs people

Good day,

I called this am to discuss cancelling my DSTV Price Lock deal. The lady told me I would need to pay the full 14 months outstanding, this amounting to R12586.

This is unreasonable and in terms of your own terms and condictions I am intitiled to cancel early and a reasonable fee may apply.

The full balance of the contract is not reasonable and this breaches my consumer rights.

Normally cancellation fees include the remaining device cost along with a pro-rata fee of the total outstanding (i.e. 40% of the outstanding balance).

I do not mind paying a canellation fee and settling the amount owed on the explorer, but to pay for a full contract just to cancel this and not have received the service is *********.

Please can you look into this matter and revert with a reasonable solution to the matter. I will not be ******ed and if you fail to return with an offer or comment, I will need to seek legal advise.
