DSTV rewards is a hoax!
DSTV rewards is a hoax! In May 2021 I supposedly earned and claimed a 2 night stay at any Protea hotel for being a good customer longer than 3 years, but NEVER received a voucher. I followed up for two months via the helpline, email and calls, but NEVER received the voucher. I left it there, but now it happened again! I received and claimed a voucher for a complimetary upgrade to the Premium DSTV bouque for a month. Should have happened 'automatically' on 25 December. Did not happened, by ail they promised 25 January. Stil DID not happened, after various request and Escalations on all platforms. Now they are NOT responding to my emails anymore...

10 Feb 2022, 17:56DSTV contacted me the next day,promising that the upgrade will happen the same day. The lady would not leave her contact details... It is a week later and nothing happened! The only consolation is that I learned from Hello Peter that I was not the only customer that was promised an free upgrade which they renaged on.

09 Mar 2022, 08:46I finally received my free upgrade to Premium on 5 March almost exactly 3 months after I received the reward, but thank you DSTV for the persistence and the free upgrade.
