Dstv Rewards and Streaming App

One could write a book about the pathetic service we get from Dstv on all fronts.

My most recent experience or lack there of is to do with the Rewards program they are running. Sounds simple. Spin the wheel and win a prize of sorts. Easy hey. Well when that particular prize is not added to your account and many,many emails later you still haven’t received it then it brings the whole competition and it’s audited reputation into view.

Having been a premium subscriber for over 20 years and a Rewards member for as long as it has been available I never so much as won anything apart form Box Office movie or other such *******. With the dwindling subscriber numbers you would think that whatever algorithm they running would reward their loyal longtime customers but it’s not to be.

I’m still waiting to have my free entries add but in spite of emails back stating that I have yet to receive them. Won’t hold my breath.

As I’m on the Dstv track, their new updated App is the worst, slow and painful piece of ******* ever. Navigating it is clumsy and if it resets it’s self once everytime you try to change programs it resets again. Then again. Then again. Does that feel annoying 🤔. Now that’s how I feel. Their Apps have never been good but this version has to be the worst. I’d rather go back to the previous version than battle with it. Disgusting. I’m sure a trainee after a week of training could do a better job of designing the App.

Anyway well done DSTV. You have just lost another Premium Customer. I’m sure it doesn’t worry you as you have fleeced your customers for years.
