Dstv reconnection
My monthly payment is due on the 4 of every month. On the 30th of January 2021 my services were disconnected and when I contacted DSTV I was advised that my account was arrears and i needed to pay an extra R925 for reconnection. I don't understand how my account was in arrears when received an amount to pay by 04/02/2021. This is not the first time it's happened to me and I am really irate.

31 Jan 2021, 09:45This morning I received a call and I was advised that my account was in arrears therefore my services were disconnected. I asked the consultant to send me proof of communication that informed me my account was in arrears. On the 18th of January I checked my balance via WhatsApp which stated my amount due was 638.46 payable by 04/02/2021. I have checked my records and I did not receive a SMS nor email stating my account is in arrears. The Covid situation is tough on everyone financially however DSTV doesn't seem to understand. R925 is not a small amount.
