Dstv quick to take money but cannot pay it back

I cancelled my dstv subscription in the 1st of August yet my debit order was still deducted on 3 August. They cancelled the subscription but not the debit order. I have since phoned 3 times to try and resolve the matter and get my money refunded with no luck. Absolutely pathetic especially during these tough financial times
