DSTV Pricelock trap

I was also one of the Fools who fell for the DSTV Pricelock scan it seems... I signed up for the deal for the obvious "savings" almost 2 years ago. Six months after I signed up, I fell behind on payment due to the company I worked for closed down. I made an arrangement with DTSV Pricelock department to pay a extra set amount every month when I found new employment. All went well until end October 2019, when after I did the installment as agreed, DSTV suddenly decided to try and deduct the full outstanding balance from my bank (I did not agree to the debt order) and this happened every month after that. No matter how many times I call into the Multichoice call center, and how many times the call center agent escalated my query, the Pricelock department just never called back. Until February 2020... I made the arrange payment end of January, and starting February my account was suspended. AGAIN I called the Multichoice contact center, and again all they could do is escalate to "Pricelock", I even send in the POP of the last six months, which the Multichoice agent verified that the payments was received, and escalated the mater again. After 4 months of this, a very rude Pricelock department agent called me back, sounding quite confused, said to me that I need to do another payment of the arranged amount before my services can be reconnected, which I told her I can only do the extra payment by the end of February. She then said then my services can only be reconnected end of February. So, I did the payment on the 25th, and called the Multichoice Call Center again to confirm receipt of payment. Which the call center agent confirmed, after 30min of being placed on hold, I was once again told that they can not reconnect my services, and once again will have to escalate the matter to the Pricelock department, and they will get back to me the next day. It has been more than 48 hours now since I made the payment, and still my subscription is suspended, and NO person from the "Pricelock" department has contacted me. At this stage I am actually ready to cancel my DSTV as soon as I can get out the this Pricelock trap!

So it the 2nd of March now... and no feedback. It's quite obvious now that once you are signed on to a pricelock contract service is no longer important. Multichoice have you hooked.
