DSTV Premium Cut Off
Our issue with DSTV has been going on for over 5 months now and nothing has been done to resolve this issue. We took a DSTV Explora Premium Package price freeze about three years back, all was well until they started blocking us and telling us we owe monies from two years back.
We would call their call centre only to be told there is an error on our account and they'd resend the signal and we would be reconnected. We got disconnected almost every single day except on weekends, and my husband would call and they would reconnect us and tell us the same story that they have escalated the issue.
About two weeks back, they cut the signal and as usual my husband called only to be told they cannot reconnect because they have now escalated the issue and we must wait for them to call us within 48 hours. After 48 hours no phone call, we left it we didn't bother following up.
Just this morning we got a debit order to pay DSTV, an amount of R1892.15. My question is who authorized this debit order because as far as i know we are still waiting for them to get back to us, "within 48 hours".
The issue has not been communicated to us nor resolved but they were quick to take funds from our account with no authorisation from the account holders.
DSTV, please may you advise what is going on with our account and who gave you the permission to process that debit order. Your urgent response will be highly appreciated.
